When an idea is too early, too vague or just right
A quick framework for knowing whether to park, shape or build the thing bothering you.
Some ideas arrive too early. They might be interesting, but the audience, timing or route to usefulness is not clear enough yet.
Some ideas are simply too vague. They sound good in a sentence but become slippery when you ask who it helps, what changes for them and why now.
The ideas worth building usually have tension. There is a real problem, a reachable audience and a first version that can be made small enough to test. That is the moment to stop circling and start shaping.
